Vineyard Picnic with Tuscan Specialties at Malenchini in the Florence Hills

Relax in the hills and vineyards of Chianti Colli Fiorentini with this picnic experience at Malenchini.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by one of the estate’s wine tourism guides, who will introduce you to Malenchini’s history and explain how the experience works. You will then receive your picnic basket and set off through the vineyards to choose your preferred spot among the vines.

The basket features Tuscan specialties, including bread, filled schiacciata, and seasonal fruit. One bottle of wine is included for every two participants. You can choose from a selection of the estate’s white, rosé, and red wines, ranging from Toscana IGT Bianco and Sangiovese Rosato to Chianti DOCG. The staff will introduce the available labels and help you choose the wine that best suits your preferences.

Once you're settled, you can enjoy your picnic at your own pace, surrounded by the Tuscan countryside. A dedicated picnic basket with fruit juice is available for children. In case of bad weather, the estate will generally suggest an indoor tasting at the Medici Villa as an alternative to the vineyard picnic.
