Your experience begins at the Medici Villa of Lilliano, where a guide from the Malenchini estate will welcome you.

The first part of your visit is a tour of the villa's historic exteriors, including the Medici courtyard, the Renaissance garden, and the panoramic terrace with its views over Florence.

The tour continues into the old cellars and the historic fermentation room. Here, your guide will explain the traditions and methods behind the estate's organic winemaking process. After the tour, you will be shown to your reserved table in one of the tasting rooms to begin your tasting and lunch.

You will taste three wines, primarily reds, chosen from Malenchini's production. The selection may include a Chianti Colli Fiorentini Annata or Riserva, a Chianti Superiore, and one of their Super Tuscans. The tasting is paired with a light lunch, starting with a mixed platter of local pecorino cheese with artisanal jams and cured meats like lonzino, salami, and finocchiona. This is followed by a seasonal dish, such as lasagna, gnocchi, or panzanella, and concludes with a traditional dessert like Biscotti di Prato or a chocolate cake.

Unforgettable
I gifted this tasting tour to my husband for his birthday, it was a wonderful experience, it was our first time visiting wine cellars and we were blown away!!! Our guide Giulia, wonderful and knowledgeable, immersed us in the history of the residence with great engagement, concluding with a tasting of their own wines, paired with cold cuts and cheese boards, lasagna, and panzanella, everything was delicious, and finally even a small taste of their chocolate.
I highly recommend this experience, for the kindness and professionalism of the staff!!!!!

Absolutely Amazing
Had a great time, and was one of the more memorable, and enjoyable parts of my vacation. The winery wasn't over crowded, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The vineyard itself is gorgeous, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The chianti was great of course... I was worried about getting back to Florence at first, but the staff ordered us a taxi back. I will be back some day, and I can't wait.
