We had our wedding here and it was beautiful. I love the venue, the food, the wine, the people-everything was perfect.

This is a place where their wine...

This is a place where their wine trumps their employees. I haven't had a horrible experience here but it has differed. I think that it has to do with their tasting stations having 3 sides and 1 to 2 employees manning wine station so its not totally personable but they do try and its understandable. They offer tours of their facility if you ask, there's just not much to see when its off season, but its still nice. Their wines are also nice. If you're there in the winter ask for their Winterfest wine. Or really always ask about their seasonal wines that aren't listed. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Word to the wise though, their wines will definitely be sweeter. So if you're a dry wine person, this may not be the best place for you...

While passing through Pigeon Forge I decided...

While passing through Pigeon Forge I decided to stop at the Mountain Valley Vineyard to see what kind of wines they offered. Im always looking for new sweet white wines. I walked up to the main counter where I was greeted by a friendly hostess. I spoke with her a bit and described the types of wines I generally like and they made a few suggestions for a tasting. I also spoke with her a bit about photography in the area, and she made some recommendations on places to go that might make good photos. I sampled a few sweet and semi-sweet wines which included a muscadine, a sweet berry, and a rhubarb wine, ultimately purchasing a few bottles to bring back home. I had not seen rhubarb wine anywhere else ever and purchased a bottle of this to bring back as a gift for someone who loves Rhubarb pie. The tastings were free, the customer service was friendly, and the location right off the main street near many of the attractions. If your passing thru and like wine, I would highly suggest popping in for a quick tasting. You might find an amazing wine, and at worst have a nice roadside stop.

My family and I stopped here touring...

My family and I stopped here touring the area while on vacation. Our experience was amazing! Debbie did an AWESOME job not only explaining the wines to us, but she gave us a nice tour. The wines are an awesome quality at a great price! Mountain Valley Red, Blackberry, and the Collier Reserve are my favorites. Definitely a must visit location if you are in the area.

Sadly we were told that this winery...

Sadly we were told that this winery was closing after 12/31/2016!!! My wife and I enjoy completing the wine trail when we visit this area. If you are traveling I-40 I recommend visiting this winery while you are exiting to go into PF or GB. This is always our first stop due to its location. It is 20 miles or so from the next closest winery that is a member of the trail. We are members of the wine club so we get to try all the wines on the list. We also make our own wine and like to find a flavor that we like. Then We will try and duplicate them so ALL wineries will get a minimum of 4 stars from me. They have dry, semi sweet, sweet, bubbly, and a frozen mix to choose from. I think they can only let you have 6 samples per person so choose your samples based on your pallet preference. They also have some neat items for sale in there store so check them out. Be sure to get your trail card so you can get it stamped at the other wineries you visit. Once we leave here we head to Hillside Winery in PIgeon Forge.

Was a first stop for us on the wine trail. Exterior was very pretty but we seemed a bit cramped inside doing the tasting. Other than that, everything was great.

Great service and fruity wines! They let us sample how much ever we wanted and we ended up picking up 5 bottles between two families. Apricot, honey, strawberry and kiwi were our favourites. A must visit!
