A hidden gem. We called here after...
A hidden gem. We called here after my daughter picked up the leaflet and I decided that a place that produced something so funny should get our custom. Lovely cafe where the staff bent over backwards to cater for the intolerant two with some custom meals from the menu selections. The wine shop is very generous with the samples and their products are lovely.

Just finished a bottle of Banana wine...
Just finished a bottle of Banana wine that I bought at the millennium. It was delicious and had kept wonderfully well. I would buy it again.
What a company, original and innovative. Would love to visit their centre some day.

Une visite parfaite
Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes.
J'avais contacté le domaine viticole par e-mail. Ils nous attendaient.
Nous avons choisi la visite sur l'amarone.
Nous nous sommes promenés avec le propriétaire qui nous a raconté l'évolution du vignoble au fil des ans, nous avons visité les différentes zones des caves et de production et on nous a expliqué tous les aspects fascinants de la vinification.
S'en est suivie une dégustation animée de 4 de leurs vins amarone.
Une visite charmante qui en valait la peine.
Je le recommande vivement !

Had dinner with a friend on Saturday...
Had dinner with a friend on Saturday evening 23rd April and the food was delicious and sensibly priced. The added bonus was sitting watching the sunset over the vineyard. We had a bottle of the May Hill and tried a glass of the dessert wine, both were excellent. It would have been 5 stars review but we tried to stay at 3 Choirs but they insisted on 2 nights stay over the weekend which would have cost £399 each. We wanted to stay on the Saturday night only so ended up in a local B&B and got a taxi for the evening. We had the impression that it was not fully booked so seemed a shame not to allow bookings for 1 night only.
