Disappointing ! Basically given a map, instructed...
Disappointing ! Basically given a map, instructed to walk around fields in wellies looking at twigs, no guide, Cream tea was average, basic sandwiches, cheap ham, cream cheese, cheese & pickle, home made scone but shop bought cakes, No talk on how wine harvested etc, just laminated booklet on tables to read. Wine tasting was ok but nothing outstanding.
This was a present from our son but would not recommend. Thought it would be more interesting esp as had driven one & half hrs to get there, sorry but wouldn't recommend.

First class service, and very helpful email from Mr Roy Cook regarding
my query on sulphites.
I ordered online just after 3pm and received the next day - brilliant!
Would definitely order again, and plan to book the tour.

Worst afternoon tea ever made with Mr...
Worst afternoon tea ever made with Mr Kipling cakes and awful sandwiches yet they say they are organic? We didn't even get a tour or any description of how they made the wine. Tasting was fairly descriptive however most of the time she was reading it off the back of the wine bottle and there raspberry liquer is made from concentrated that they buy in. Organic? What organic? Wouldn't recommend at all.

Stopped off here to buy a souvenir...
Stopped off here to buy a souvenir wine and we ended up taking three bottles home. As well as being an outlet for the wines they produce, the place doubles up as a Black Forest style

As a birthday present from my daughter...
As a birthday present from my daughter we started with a delicious hamper of local produce for lunch then had a really interesting and informative tasting and tour. It was very relaxed and informal and a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Ridgeview are a small producer but pride themselves on the quality of the wine they produce. They rightly deserve all the accolades they have received, well done to all the team at Ridgeview.

Went on the wine tasting experience here,...
Went on the wine tasting experience here, with my family yesterday. The girl (daughter of the owner) who was the tour guide was fantastic and did a great job at explaining how their wine was produced, as well as giving some background into the vineyard itself. Lovely wine tasting experience after the tour, along with a great discussion about tasting notes of the different wines. Absolutely fab! They also have a nice shop where you can purchase their range of wines, as well as selected local produce. Great day out. Would thoroughly recommend going if you are in the area.
