Cellar Tour and Wine Tasting with Local Foods at Valpanera in Friuli
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to Valpanera, a family-run winery located between Aquileia and Grado, begins with a tour of the cellar and production areas. You'll be guided by a member of the hospitality team, who will share the history of the estate and the daily work behind its wines, offering an introduction to the local territory and its winemaking characteristics.
After the tour, you will take a seat in one of the dedicated tasting rooms for a guided tasting of five representative wines. The flight includes a Ribolla Gialla Spumantizzata Extra Dry, two whites, Malvasia DOC and Traminer Aromatico DOC, and two reds, a Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso DOC and the Aquilio, Valpanera's Refosco reserve.
The tasting is paired with a selection of local products, such as Montasio cheese, salami, artisan breadsticks, and sweet-and-sour vegetables. Please note that the specific wines and food pairings may vary based on seasonal availability. At the end of the experience, you can visit the winery shop to purchase Valpanera's products.
