Here is what you will live

Visit the unparalleled Douro Valley, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO, and discover its delightful wines and sceneries with this wine tour.

Meet your guide at the meeting point in central Porto and then head together toward the Douro Valley. For the drive, you'll experience a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with stunning viewpoints of the valley and where you will have your first stop. You will visit the small winery of a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region), olive oil, and other olive-based products, everything paired with local bread, jelly, cheeses, and hams. At this winery, you will have the chance to enjoy a short walk among the vines and, depending on the stage of the vineyard, learn about the work being done at the moment, such as pruning, grafting, and harvesting.

The second stop of your wine tour will be in Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with 2 main dishes, salads, and drinks, with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians too. After lunch, from Pinhão, you'll embark on a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a backdrop.

Your journey will continue through the National 222 road in the direction of the last winery. Here you will enjoy a minimal and intimate winery experience culminating with a tasting of their wines. After a full day of activities, you will return to Porto at around 6:00 PM.
