Accompanied by an English-speaking local guide, you will cycle effortlessly through some of the world’s most iconic wine landscapes aboard an electric bike, enjoying breathtaking vineyard scenery, charming wine villages, and exceptional Burgundy wines along the way.
The experience begins in Dijon, where you will meet your guide before being transferred to the bike departure point. From there, your cycling journey through Burgundy’s famous Pinot Noir vineyards starts.
During the tour, you will ride through renowned appellations including Gevrey-Chambertin, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée, and Nuits-Saint-Georges. Along the route, your guide will explain the history of Burgundy winemaking, the concept of terroir, and the uniqueness of the Côte de Nuits vineyards.
One of the highlights of the day is passing beside the iconic Château du Clos de Vougeot, the historic monument where Cistercian monks once produced wine and helped shape Burgundy’s viticultural heritage. You will also cycle past the world-famous Romanée-Conti vineyard, one of the most prestigious wine plots in existence.
The tour includes visits to 2 different wineries, where you will explore historic cellars and enjoy guided tastings with a minimum of 8 Burgundy wines, including the region’s celebrated Pinot Noir expressions.
Midday, you will stop in Nuits-Saint-Georges for a relaxing lunch in a traditional local restaurant, experiencing authentic Burgundy cuisine in a convivial atmosphere.
