Here is what's in store for you
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Paris, accompanied by delicious, freshly baked buttery croissants. As we venture to Champagne, you'll be captivated by the stunning vineyard landscapes while gaining insights into the region's history, notable figures, and the Champagne production process. The day kicks off with a guided tour through the labyrinthine cellars of one of the most famous Champagne producers like Moët & Chandon, Mumm, Lanson, Nicolas Feuillatte, Mercier, or other (upon availability), where you'll delve into their unique history and production methods, all while enjoying a tasting of their flagship cuvée led by the house sommelier.
Next, a brief journey will take you to the village of Hautvillers, renowned for its abbey where Dom Pérignon, the legendary cellar master, perfected the art of Champagne-making (depending on the day). Later, visit a stunning Champagne vineyard and partake in a "wild tasting" (weather dependent) led by your wine expert guide amongst the vineyards. This unique experience, along with a special cuvée tasting, reveals the secrets of this famous bubbly drink.
Lunchtime offers a delightful experience at a family-run winery or a traditional restaurant, featuring a delectable gourmet French-style lunch paired with at least 3 different champagnes. To complete the day, explore a cooperative or a family-owned winery. By day's end, you'll be a true expert on bubbles, with ample champagne tastings to enhance your knowledge. Following these captivating experiences, your guide will safely return you to Paris, dropping you off at Place de l'Hôtel de Ville in central Paris (4th arrondissement).
