This full-day experience offers a deep dive into the rich heritage, flavors, and landscapes of the Naples region.
The day begins with a panoramic tour through the scenic hills of Naples, where stunning views of the Gulf, the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida, and the city’s historical landmarks create a perfect introduction to its 2,500-year-old cultural legacy.
The journey continues with a guided exploration of either Herculaneum or Pompeii. Herculaneum, a refined Roman city buried under volcanic material, reveals well-preserved villas and frescoes, offering a glimpse into the lives of ancient aristocracy. Alternatively, choose to visit Pompeii, one of the world’s most iconic archaeological sites, where streets, buildings, and artifacts remain remarkably intact after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
A visit to the Cantina del Vesuvio follows, nestled on the fertile slopes of the volcano with breathtaking views of the bay. Here, guests enjoy a guided walk through the vineyard, learn about winemaking traditions, and indulge in a tasting of 3-4 local wines paired with a traditional four-course lunch featuring Neapolitan specialties (starter, pasta with Vesuvius-grown tomatoes, meatballs in tomato sauce, classic Neapolitan dessert, and local digestif.
