Private Valpolicella Wine Tour from Verona: Amarone Tasting & Fresh Pasta Demonstration

Your full-day tour of Valpolicella begins when your private driver collects you from your accommodation in Verona. You will be accompanied by two professionals for the day: a dedicated driver and a local wine expert who will introduce you to the region's appellations and winemaking methods.

The first stop is at a local specialist producer of cheese and salami. You will visit the ageing rooms before a tasting of cured meats, such as salame and sopressa, and cheeses including Ubriaco, aged in Amarone wine. These are served with homemade mustards and jams.

Next, you will proceed to a family-run trattoria for a live demonstration of how traditional lasagnette are prepared by hand. Following the demonstration, you will have lunch featuring this fresh pasta served with a variety of sauces.

Throughout the day, you'll travel through the vineyards of Valpolicella, stopping in the village of San Giorgio di Valpolicella for views over the countryside towards Lake Garda.
