Here is what's in store for you
Your private driver and a dedicated wine expert will pick you up from your accommodation in Verona to begin your full-day tour. The first stop is a winery in the Lessini Mountains, an area known for its volcanic soils. You will learn about Durella, an ancient native grape, and see the production process behind Lessini Durello DOC sparkling wine. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of four wines, which may include a Metodo Classico sparkling, a Charmat method sparkling, and a still white wine made from Durella grapes.
Next, you'll travel to the medieval village of Soave. Your guide will lead you on a walk through its characteristic streets to the majestic castle that overlooks the town. Afterward, you will have some free time to explore the center at your own pace.
The afternoon is dedicated to the region's "green gold." You'll visit a local olive oil mill for a tour that starts in the olive grove. You will discover the production process of DOP Veneto Valpolicella extra virgin olive oil, followed by a tasting of different oils to appreciate their distinct characteristics.
At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to your accommodation in Verona.
