Here is what's in store for you

The Ceramida winery is located 400 meters above sea level in the Costa Viola area, a coastal territory between the municipalities of Palmi, Bagnara Calabra and Scilla, on the Tyrrhenian side of Calabria, where the Aspromonte mountain range reaches the Tyrrhenian Sea opposite the Strait of Messina.

This guided tour includes an introduction to the world of viticulture with a focus on the planted vines, training systems, and winemaking traditions of the Costa Viola area. You will walk among the rows of Zibibbo, Calabrese Nero (Nero d'Avola), Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay and learn about the various training systems and peculiarities of each grape variety.

You will also visit a traditional, ancient vineyard, bred with the alberello system. Here, with a panoramic view, you will taste four different wines of their own production, accompanied by a tasting of typical local products such as Pizza di Pellegrina, Bruschette di pane di Pellegrina, typical local cold cuts, N'duja di Spilinga, Piparelli (typical sweets of the Costa Viola) accompanied by Passito di Zibibbo, always of their own production.

Enjoy a special tasting surrounded by panoramic scenery, with the sun setting over the sea and the Aeolian Islands, tinging them with unique colors.

How to reach us

The meeting point is located near the village of Ceramida, about 500 meters from the Bagnara Calabra motorway exit, on state road no. 18. There will be two people waiting for you who will take you to the vineyard. There are no difficulties in reaching the vineyard. Further information will be given to you one day before the tour date via phone or WhatsApp.

Pickup from Scilla and nearby areas (round trip) is free — just let us know in the notes of your booking request if you need it.

Pickup from Reggio Calabria (round trip) is available at an additional cost — please select the option with pickup included.

We had a wonderful afternoon at the vineyard. The team is extremely friendly and attentive. You learn a lot about regional cultivation in a beautiful location with a fantastic view of the sunset. A lovely selection of wines and regional food is included. Awesome experience.

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our time at the winedering. The hospitality and kindness of the Guids were amazing and the views, food and wine were stunning and very good! I would defenitly recommend it to anyone and I hope one day to come back.

We had such a great time at vineyard, everything was just wonderful - sooo nice people, very beautiful views, amazing food, wines and vineyard tour.
For only 25 euros you get a tour, wines, food, transportation and very good company - that's too good right:D
Definitely recommend going there!!

Entre passion et douce folie, Angelo Rodolpho et Vincenzo portent à leurs terres un amour plus profond encore que celui qu’ils vouent au bon vin.
Leur ambition ? Préserver les traditions ancestrales de la vigne, honorer les gestes d’hier, tout en ouvrant la porte au monde moderne. Un subtil équilibre qui, contre toute attente, fonctionne à merveille.

Parfois, l’élan les emporte plus loin encore. Pris d’audace, ils se lancent dans une véritable gymnastique viticole, plantant des vignes sur des pentes abruptes, défiant les montagnes par curiosité, par passion, par défi… ou peut-être simplement pour laisser un peu plus d’espace à la nature. Qui pourrait le dire ? Eux-mêmes n’en sont pas toujours certains.

Cette expérience, je vous la recommande vivement. Elle est bien plus qu’une découverte du vin : c’est une rencontre, riche en savoir, en partage, en culture, en humanité — une histoire transmise avec le cœur.

Esperienze consigliatissina, ho potuto portare la mia famiglia nei vigneti di cui ho sentito tanto parlare da mia nonna nata e vissuta a Ceramida, una delle braccianti agricole che con impressionante fatica e perseveranza li lavorava e contribuiva a mantenere Granaro un giardino fatto di terrazzamenti piccolissimi che scendevano fino al mare.
Poter vedere che Rodolfo è la sua squadra sta eroicamente ridando vita a tutto questo mi ha fatto molto piacere e sicuramente ne sarà felice anche mia nonna Giuseppa anche se non è più con noi.
Tenete dura con la speranza che vi segua anche qualche entusiasta giovane, grazie.

Astonishing experience. Rodolfo and his business partner (together with other people that helped) made this tour incredible. Breathtaking view on the Costa Viola and a beautiful sunset. The wine was genuine and niche, not commercial at all. The wine tasting was followed by some amazing food and good company!
