Here is what's in store for you

The Ceramida winery is located 400 meters above sea level in the Costa Viola area, a coastal territory between the municipalities of Palmi, Bagnara Calabra and Scilla, on the Tyrrhenian side of Calabria, where the Aspromonte mountain range reaches the Tyrrhenian Sea opposite the Strait of Messina.

This guided tour includes an introduction to the world of viticulture with a focus on the planted vines, training systems, and winemaking traditions of the Costa Viola area. You will walk among the rows of Zibibbo, Calabrese Nero (Nero d'Avola), Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay and learn about the various training systems and peculiarities of each grape variety.

You will also visit a traditional, ancient vineyard, bred with the alberello system. Here, with a panoramic view, you will taste four different wines of their own production, accompanied by a tasting of typical local products such as Pizza di Pellegrina, Bruschette di pane di Pellegrina, typical local cold cuts, N'duja di Spilinga, Piparelli (typical sweets of the Costa Viola) accompanied by Passito di Zibibbo, always of their own production.

Enjoy a special tasting surrounded by panoramic scenery, with the sun setting over the sea and the Aeolian Islands, tinging them with unique colors.

It was wonderful!

Albino and Vincenzo welcomed us with open arms into their lovely vineyard!! We met them at the meeting place and they drove us down into the vineyard, where we got a tour and then a delicious selection of Calabrian foods. We also got 4 glasses of wine from the vineyard, all of which were delicious. Really great value for the cost of the tickets. Thank you guys!!

Esperienza perfetta

La visita nei vigneti dell’Az. Agricola Ceramida è stata veramente perfetta. C’erano i proprietari e il giardiniere che ci hanno guidato tra i vigneti, spiegandoci tutto sulle loro cultivar, sui terreni, la storia del posto e i loro vini. Ci hanno dato modo di gustare un incredibile panorama, quasi unico al mondo, fatto di muretti a secco centenari, tramonti sul mare e isole Eolie. Ed infine abbiamo degustati i loro vini tutti ottimi, specialmente il passito, accompagnati da un abbondante tagliere di salumi e prodotti del luogo.
Assolutamente consigliata e da rifare!

Davvero una bella esperienza

Partiamo dall'aspetto più importante: i vini. Abbiamo fatto una deguastazione, poco prima del tramonto all'aperto, di un bianco zibibbo dal sapore e profumi coinvolgenti. A seguire due rossi, Calabrese nero e Syrah, tutti di qualità eccellente. Dulcis in fundo un passito spettacolare!! Tutto accopagnato da prodotti tipici del territorio. Molto bello il tour guidato della vigna che dopo la deguastazione si è concluso presso la mega panchina di Rocco che sia affaccia sul mare in uno scenario naturale di sublime bellezza.

Real local experience!

It was very nice afternoon in beautiful scenery and with very kind people.! We were welcomed by Rodolfo and the team around 16 by the road (meeting point was sent before the visit) and we spent together aprox. 3 hours and it passed very quickly. We had kind of private tour, they showed us different parts of the vineyard and different methods of growing the grapes. During the visit they offered us to taste various types of the fruit. At the end there was a wine tasting with some delicious calabrian snacks and the sunset at the background. We enjoyed it a lot! The location of the place is just perfect. If you are around and if you really want to feel the real calabrian vibe, we totally recommend visiting this place! :) Joanna & Fernando
It's better to bring long sleeve - there are mosquitos around.

Meraviglie a conduzione familiare

È stata una piacevole scoperta della costa viola tramite le dettagliate spiegazioni della famiglia che si occupa del vitigno. Siamo stati accolti da delle bravissime persone, che hanno saputo trasmettere quanto tengono al luogo in cui lavorano tanto duramente per creare degli eccellenti prodotti.
È stata una giornata passata in un ambiente familiare nel quale ci è stato illustrato il funzionamento della coltivazione accompagnati da un panorama mozzafiato vista mare.
Dopodiché abbiamo degustato i diversi vini prodotti, a nostro parere eccellenti.
Assieme abbiamo gustato, oltre ai vini, un aperitivo a base di prodotti locali.
Le spiegazioni sulla produzione del vino sono state molto esaustive e l’aperitivo accompagnato dai vini prodotti è stato incredibile!
Un grande ringraziamento a tutta le persone che si occupano del vitigno per il lavoro svolto e la cortesia nell’ospitarci nel cuore del loro lavoro.

Esperienza incantevole!

Un’ esperienza super piacevole e coinvolgente alla scoperta degli antichi vigneti di Ceramida con degustazione finale.

La passeggiata è stata molto interessante, abbiamo acquisito informazioni sulla tipologia dei vigneti, sui metodi di coltivazione del vino piú antichi e goduto degli splendidi panorami attorno.

Subito dopo il tramonto una splendida degustazione di vini accompagnati da salumi tipici, frutta, cibo locale e dolcini in compagnia dei proprietari.

Esperienza super consigliata!

Esperienza coinvolgente

Una passeggiata in un vigneto dove si produce vino sin dall'antichità, accompagnati da coloro che ci lavorano con fatica e passione e che hanno investito in questo lembo di terra con la missione di dare valore al territorio. Se a questo aggiungiamo che eravamo circondati da un panorama mozzafiato con vista sullo Stretto e Isole Eolie e - dulcis in fundo - una degustazione al tramonto di 4 vini di alta qualità, accompagnati da apprezzati prodotti del territorio a Km 0, preparata con cura in un'area accanto ai vigneti, non è difficile immaginare come sia possibile parlare di "Esperienza coinvolgente". Una esperienza davvero diversa dal solito accompagnati da persone straordinarie.
