Grand Cru Wine Tasting with Local Pairings at Monte del Frà in Custoza

The Monte del Frà estate is located in the hills of Custoza. Your visit begins with a welcome from a member of the Bonomo family or their hospitality team, overlooking the vineyards that are the source of their most prestigious labels. You will learn about the winery's history and philosophy before heading to the barrel cellar, where the most important wines mature in carefully selected oak.

The experience culminates in the tasting room. Here, you will have a guided tasting of five premium Cru wines, chosen to showcase the character of the area's most expressive micro-terroirs. You can select one of two tasting flights: the 'Reserves Selection', featuring top white and red wines like Custoza Superiore DOC and Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Riserva, or the 'Amarone Special', a flight dedicated entirely to the estate's powerful reds.

The wines are served with Monte del Frà's Garda extra virgin olive oil and a platter of artisanal products from Corrado Benedetti, a producer in nearby Lessinia. Depending on the season, this may include 10-month-aged Grana cheese, Amarone-aged coppa, or goat cheese aged in hay. During your visit, you can also see contemporary art installations from the winery's collaboration with the Milan-based 6499 Milano art space.
