The Blindfolded Wine Tasting is a unique and engaging experience designed for those who want to discover Tuscan wine in an original and fun way. The event begins in a cozy and elegant room, where a solid wood table is set up, surrounded by precious bottles, some of which are impossible to find.
You will meet your dedicated sommelier, who will introduce you to the wines of the region and the secrets of wine tasting. The highlight comes when, once blindfolded, you will be guided on a sensory journey that will stimulate all your senses except sight. The sommelier will let you taste four different wines, DOCG excellences from the Tuscan territory: Chianti Classico, Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino, Supertuscan, and without the help of sight, you will have to concentrate on aromas, flavors, and textures to try to guess the type, vintage, and characteristics of each wine. With each tasting, you will learn interesting facts and stories about the wine you are tasting, learning to distinguish the different Tuscan grape varieties and their particularities. The wines will be accompanied by a selection of Tuscan pecorino cheeses and breadsticks.
The experience ends with the revelation of the wines tasted, and at the end, you can purchase them or choose and purchase from the large selection we have in our wine shop.

You will find the sommelier waiting for you in front of the wine shop at Via della Sapienza, 66, in the historic center of Siena near the Basilica of San Domenico.
You can get there by bus, taxi, or private car. If you are staying in a hotel in the city center, walking is the best option.
