You have surely tasted good wine throughout your life, but I can offer you a selection of excellence in a secret underground location.
My wine cellar is one of the oldest in Siena and specializes in Brunello di Montalcino, as well as offering famous labels such as Masseto, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, and other top wines. Many of the bottles inside cannot be found anywhere else in the world except at Cantina del Brunello, as they are not intended for export, partly because they are produced in limited quantities.
For our tasting, I have chosen a selection of great Tuscan and Italian wines from among more than a thousand different labels, such as Chianti Classico, Supertuscan, and Brunello di Montalcino of the highest quality, all accompanied by a selection of the best pecorino cheeses with breadsticks. I will take you not only to the shop itself but also inside an Etruscan tomb, dug into the tuff, which I discovered during some renovation work and where I also keep my collection.

The wine shop is located at Via della Sapienza, 66 in the heart of Siena's historic center. It can be reached on foot if you are staying in hotels in the historic center, or by public transport with a stop at the Basilica of San Domenico, or by private car with paid parking at the Siena Stadium, which is a 3-minute walk from the wine shop.
