At Natur und Mohr, this guided tasting takes you outdoors, directly to the place where the fruit grows. Together, you will explore traditional orchard meadows, discover heritage apple and pear varieties, and taste selected products from the craft manufactory in their natural setting. This close-to-nature experience reveals how soil, climate, ripeness, and varietal diversity shape the flavor of every glass.
During the visit, you will learn what makes Natur und Mohr’s work special: a focus on traditional varieties, careful craftsmanship, and the preservation of orchard meadows, which are among Europe’s most biodiverse habitats. With every tasting, guests support the protection of this valuable cultural landscape.
The experience includes a guided tasting of seven products, such as sparkling pear Secco, apple Secco, apple-quince Secco, apple-elderflower Secco, apple cider, pear cider, and wines made from apples and pears. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are available, accompanied by still water and fresh bread.
More than a simple tasting, this is a journey to the origin of flavor at Natur und Mohr — ideal for anyone who wants to discover where their drink comes from and why genuine craftsmanship makes all the difference.

Where we are and how to reach us
The meeting point for the tasting is our orchard shop in Weil im Schönbuch (Lachentalstraße 17, 71093 Weil im Schönbuch).
Getting here is easy by both car and public transport. Parking is available along the street close to our shop. If you prefer a more sustainable journey, you can take the Schönbuch Railway to the Troppel stop. From there, it is just a five-minute walk to our shop.
We begin by welcoming you with a first glass of enjoyment – depending on the season, this may be a sparkling pear Secco or a non-alcoholic alternative. During this introduction, you will get to know our craft manufactory and gain your first insights into the world of traditional orchard meadows.
