Just 25 minutes from the city of Ragusa, discover the authentic heart of Sicilian winemaking at Azienda Agricola Poggio di Bortolone, a historic estate founded by the Cosenza family in the late 18th century. Nestled among rolling hills and sun-drenched ridges, the estate covers 15 hectares of vineyards and produces wines that express the rich biodiversity and winemaking traditions of southeastern Sicily.

Upon arrival, you’ll be personally welcomed by Pierluigi Cosenza, the current owner and passionate winemaker, who will guide you through an unforgettable journey into the soul of his land.

The experience begins with a guided walk through the estate’s vineyards and olive groves, where you'll also learn about the wild flora and fauna of the region. Then, you'll explore the winery itself to uncover the secrets behind the estate's traditional and innovative winemaking methods.

To complete the visit, you’ll enjoy a tasting of 4 carefully selected wines – 1 rosé and 3 reds – including iconic Sicilian varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Frappato, and rarer grapes like Grosso Nero.
