Nel 2006 abbiamo creato una piccola cantina, MAS BLANCH I JOVÉ, a LA POBLA DE CÉRVOLES (Lleida) dove produciamo vino di qualità nella DO Costers del Segre. Il progetto, tuttavia, è nato molto prima. I nostri nonni erano agricoltori appassionati che ci hanno insegnato ad amare, lavorare e rispettare la terra. Ci hanno anche insegnato a gustare il vino. PIENO DI VITA. Da qui nasce il nostro entusiasmo nel creare un PROGETTO INERENTEMENTE PURO E POTENTE. I nostri vigneti si trovano a Les Garrigues, al confine occidentale della regione del Priorat, una zona montuosa a più di 700 metri sul livello del mare. L'unicità del suolo dei vigneti, le scarse precipitazioni, l'ampio soleggiamento e le notevoli differenze di temperatura tra il giorno e la notte ci permettono, a seguito di un'accurata e meticolosa lavorazione della terra, di ottenere un PRODOTTO DI ECCEZIONALE QUALITÀ. Questo è il nostro segreto più importante. Il secondo è non improvvisare. Tutti i nostri vigneti sono biologici. Non acquistiamo uve da altri produttori e tutte le nostre uve vengono raccolte a mano nel momento perfetto di maturazione. Il risultato è un delizioso vino biologico. Saó significa "perfezione, maturità e umidità ottimale" nella lingua catalana locale ed è una parola che i nostri nonni, che provenivano da una zona molto secca, usavano molto spesso quando il terreno era umido. Una parola molto positiva che indicava la ricchezza che derivava dall'acqua. Il progetto è nato con l'aiuto del nostro amico Josep Guinovart, pittore catalano di fama internazionale e nostro caro amico. Ha pensato a IL VIGNETO DEGLI ARTISTI, un progetto unico che contempla l'ARTE COME PARTE DELLA NATURA e che mescola teatro, sculture, poesia, vigneti, ecc. Diverse opere sono esposte in modo permanente nella cantina e tra le vigne, rendendo l'esperienza della visita alla cantina ancora più speciale. E questo è ciò che cerchiamo di fare: non solo produrre i migliori vini che possiamo ottenere dai nostri vigneti, ma anche dare forza a un territorio povero creando un patrimonio artistico e sostenendo gli artisti locali.

Lagravera è una cantina nata dall'onore, dal cuore e dall'armonia con la natura. Il nome Ónra, derivato dalla parola spagnola "onore", riflette il profondo rispetto che nutriamo per la terra e per tutto ciò che essa ci offre. Nel cuore della Catalogna, sui terreni di un'ex cava di ghiaia, abbiamo immaginato un vigneto in cui convivono pietre e vigneti: un progetto coraggioso che ha trasformato un terreno arido in un fiorente ecosistema biodinamico. Con immensa dedizione, abbiamo convertito un vecchio magazzino in una cantina, costruita non solo su pietre fisiche, ma sulle fondamenta della convinzione, della sostenibilità e dell'amore per la viticoltura. Fin dall'inizio, la nostra missione è stata chiara: creare vini con un'anima, che onorassero la natura e riflettessero l'essenza del loro ambiente. Il nostro vigneto è circondato da pietre e immerso nella natura. Applichiamo tecniche avanzate di monitoraggio e di impianto, mantenendo al contempo pratiche di viticoltura ecologica certificata, assicurando un perfetto equilibrio naturale tra le viti e l'ambiente circostante. Ogni vino è plasmato dal clima, dal terreno e dalle mani del coltivatore e porta con sé la personalità e la purezza di questa origine unica.

The land and the climate are Clos Pons’ identity signs, born with the aim to express our land’s sensory richness in each single bottle. Passion and respect for the land; the gentle, painstaking care taken in each of the phases of the winemaking process, and the expert hands of oenologist Martí Magriñá have given Clos Pons a winemaking competence that has consolidated the winery as a reference point for quality both within the D.O. Costers del Segre and on an international level. This is reinforced by the recognition it has been afforded by consumers and by some of the most prestigious institutions worldwide. The construction of the winery completes the wine project started in 2005 by the Pons family. The design of the space is fuelled by the philosophy of tradition and respect for the land, reflecting the history of the company. Based on the concepts of order, symmetry, land and buildings of stone and wood, characteristics of the area of Les Garrigues, the project revolves around its adaptation to the environment and the project's interaction with it. The rectangular floor plan located on the top of a hill offers magnificent sunsets, overlooking the vastness of Les Garrigues and the Catalan Pyrenees.

The origin of Castell d’Encus stems from the impact the location had on Raul Bobet in 2001 while he was looking for land that could reduce the effects of climate change on vineyards around the Catalan Pyrenees. Castle Encus mission is to obtain high quality wines. So we have planted 23 of the 95ha in the property in high density with varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Semillon and Albariño. The rest of the land remains as a forest.

It all started with the ambition of a restless man, Juan de Porcioles, who had always dreamed of living in the country, cultivating the land and raising his own livestock … So it was that, in 1992, the Porcioles-Buixó family bought the property.Since then, the estate has been developed with hard work and enthusiasm, and endowed with its own character and singularity. Today, it is known as Finca de Flix.At the same time, Juan de Porcioles, a great lover of wine, gradually developed the idea of cultivating his own vineyard to produce wines with a distinct personality and of the highest quality. So, in 1998, and with the help of friends and family, he planted the first vineyard, Vinya Vella, by hand, prompting the recovery of winegrowing in the region.This was quite a project, which, today, thanks to his wife and children, is becoming a reality. In the old days, the stables and the food supplies of the Earls of Urgell (798-1413 were located in these lands in Flix, Ribera del Sió. Now we have designed a viticulture project addressed to obtain hight quality wines with all the nuances and flavours that the rich soil and microclimate of the riverside offer us.) It is a property of impressive beauty, a place of quietness and tranquillity that also includes the growing of olive trees and cereals, sheep and cattle raising and game preserve. They are different elements of a comprehensive project designed to achieve a perfect ecological balance.

Our winery is located beside the barn, among the vines, with spectacular views of the valley of Sort and the Batlliu. It is a functional spare equipped with the necessary technology which allows us to elaborate quality wines with the least possible intervention and the most respect for the fruit our vines give us. We wanted to contract an internationally renowned architect, but we settled for the design of our partner Guillem Puras. We clearly understand that the wine is made in the vine and that in the winery we on ly have to accompany the process.

Tomas Cusiné was founded in 2003. During these years, we gained experience in the quest for the desired wines. We have had many years of hard work while persisting in the philosophy of quality winemaking. We work in the vineyards while gave emphasis to the brand and diversity and consistency to the wines. All, this effort and passion has been possible due to a committed team of people that has helped to achieve the objectives set in the beginning and to consolidate Tomàs Cusiné as a prestigious and reliable winery. Tomàs Cusiné has worked since the beginning with a very open mind to the world, managing to introduce their wines in more than thirty different countries. Scores and ratings of great consistency have been issued by critics over the years. All the wines have been highly appreciated for their personality, subtlety and pleasantness, showing its own character and reflecting the landscape and the soil where the vines are grown. Year after year, the 30 hectares of mountain vineyards planted over 700 meters high have been deepening its roots into the earth. The vineyards have balanced their vegetation. Now they produce very good grapes with excellent qualities that facilitate the winemaking and improve the wines as well as ensure the future of the project.
