Villa Fossa Mala, precedentemente conosciuta come Villa Bassi della Meduna, è una tenuta storica che incarna l'eleganza e il fascino della campagna veneto-friulana. Le origini della villa risalgono al XVI e XVII secolo e la sua architettura riflette il tradizionale stile a corte chiusa che divenne un segno distintivo delle ville aristocratiche della regione intorno al 1600. La tenuta è abbellita da un albero di magnolia secolare, simbolo dell'eredità duratura della villa. I visitatori di Fossa Mala possono esplorare i resti del suo passato rurale, tra cui una fontana per bere, la pavimentazione in ciottoli vicino alle vecchie stalle e i grandi archi al primo piano, un tempo utilizzati come fienile. I muri della villa, costruiti con pietre di fiume e mattoni alternati, rivelano la maestria artigianale dei secoli passati. Oggi, Fossa Mala è una testimonianza della ricca storia della regione e offre un'esperienza unica ai viaggiatori che apprezzano il connubio tra architettura storica, bellezza naturale e arte enologica.

Cantina Trezero è stata fondata nel 2016 da tre persone lungimiranti, esperte nel settore vinicolo, spinte dall'impegno per la sostenibilità e dal desiderio di creare vino di alta qualità con un impatto ambientale minimo. La scoperta di un vigneto unico che non richiede trattamenti chimici ha ispirato l'impresa. Questi vigneti sono chiamati PIWI, un acronimo tedesco per PilzWiderstandsfähige, che significa "resistente ai funghi" Queste varietà sono state appositamente selezionate per resistere alle più comuni malattie fungine che colpiscono la vite, senza essere modificate geneticamente. Oggi Cantina Trezero è un'azienda vinicola certificata biologica e CasaClimaWine in Friuli Venezia Giulia, fondata su una filosofia di qualità, innovazione e un forte impegno per la sostenibilità e la tutela dell'ambiente. È l'unica cantina della regione, e una delle poche in Italia, a produrre esclusivamente vini da vitigni resistenti.

La cantina Bessich, fondata nel 1959 da Antonio Bessich, è un vigneto a conduzione familiare nel cuore delle Grave del Friuli. Questa cantina ha prosperato attraverso le generazioni: il figlio di Antonio, Luciano, ha ampliato l'attività e oggi i figli di Luciano, Daniela, Alessandra, Roberto e Fabio, portano avanti l'eredità di famiglia. La cantina si estende su 19 ettari di terreno ghiaioso, ideale per produrre vini dal carattere distintivo. Il loro impegno per la qualità, la tradizione e l'innovazione li ha resi un nome rinomato nella regione, offrendo ai visitatori un'autentica wine experience.

Fernanda Cappello, an architect, who was fascinated and charmed by a land that was so individual and tough, has taken up the challenge enthusiastically and now spends all her time on producing wine. Her passion, competence and professionalism is constantly growing, and these - together with the crucial contribution of highly-motivated experts and colleagues who are proud of their work - are the lifeblood of her energetic management of the estate, the cellar and also the newly-established wine bar. The Fernanda Cappello estate is situated on 135 hectares of flat land, of which 126 are given over to vines, 2 to woodland and the remaining area to crop rotation and to buildings (cellars, warehouses, workers' housing, etc). Seen from above, its natural and original position can be seen, in the "Magredi" between the Cellina and Meduna rivers: here, at the foot of the Friuli hills, at Sequals, protected from the calm and imposing Alps, on a flood plain, skeletal, made up of dolomitic limestone fragments, lie the vineyards of the Fernanda Cappello estate. A land that gives nobility and character to its produce thanks to two natural allies: the Alpine breeze from Val Tramontina, which caresses and ventilates the vineyards, creating a micro-climate which is dry enough to produce healthy grapes, even if it rains heavily throughout the year. And the stones, which are everywhere on the ground in the vineyards, are invaluable in creating the minerality of the land. A place where the Fernanda Cappello estate is already an integral part, a link which is carried on and enriched, harvest after harvest, from 1970.

At the heart of the winery philosophy is the rediscovery and selection of ancient native Friulan vines cultivated for centuries on the hills of West Friuli. Ancient vines that, up to thirty years ago, seemed to have disappeared, but that the passion of Emilio Bulfon, helped by Noemi and children Lorenzo and Alberta, has brought to new life, carefully identifying, selecting and replanting them in collaboration with the expert ampelographers from the Experimental Institute for Viticulture in Conegliano. At the heart of the work of Emilio Bulfon, discoverer of these native varieties is the will to persevere in the enhancement and protection of these vines, along with the basis of his wine-producing activity: constant care for vineyards, improvement and refinement of wines quality and reception of visitors at the cellar. In 1987, the Province of Pordenone, rewarding the work of recovery and improvement done, awarded him the gold medal and, after having started in one of his farms the experimental planting of 24 native Friulan vines, promoted, with the support of the Agricultural Initiatives Committee of the Pordenone Trade Fair and the Oenology Institute of Conegliano, the historical and scientific book “Dalle colline spilimberghesi nuove viti e nuovi vini”, by Emilio Bulfon, Ruggero Forti and Gianni Zuliani (1987, p. 83), where the ampelographic description sheets of the varieties recovered have been published for the first time: Ucelut, Piculit-Neri, Sciaglin and Forgiarin. A research that is continued later recovering other cultivars, once present in Pordenone area and now almost disappeared: such as the Cividin, Cordenossa and Cjanorie varieties, selected and cultivated for decades in the vineyards of the winery in Valeriano, thanks to the concession granted by the Agricultural Inspectorate of the Province of Pordenone and to the authorization given by the Region. All three vine varieties were entered in the “National Catalogue of Grape Varieties”.

The Pittaro brothers, the Pitars, are a descent of master wine makers who had been producing excellent wines ever since 1510. The Pitars world is a small ancient world, rich of the true values of the Friulian tradition and of the passionate care that characterizes every step and every detail of the complex winemaking process. This is made in a technologically advanced winery with highly specialized wine-making system, witness to an agro-technique evolution of exceptional standing. The vineyards, cultivated with care for a low-yield per hectare, stretch out perfectly between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone, in the precious "Friuli" D.O.C. land. Here you can surprisingly discover the unexpected generosity of nature, with the richest vines being allowed to take root and grow from the stony soil.

In Friuli-Venezia Giulia, at Rondover, between Prata and Porcia, in the most western part of Doc Friuli Grave and at the heart of Doc Prosecco, the company San Simone is the result of tradition and enological culture of our family, which is engaged in the profession of winegrowers for four generations. We selected the name San Simone for our wines and wine cellar in the memory of our origins. The first and historic headquarters were in fact situated in via San Simone, Prata, opposite the fourteenth century church devoted to Saint Simon, where our great-grandfather in the early 1900s gave the very first and decisive impulse to the activity which has been now converted into a family residence. Many changes have taken place over time. But one thing which has not changed is our value system: responsibility towards the reality in which we work, passion for our work and transparency in our working system. These are the values which are timeless.
