Cantina e Vini

Here at Rovellats we pay attention to even the tiniest details. That’s why all our products have matchless aromatic and taste concentrations and are made using ecological farming methods that focus on limited production of premium quality wines and cavas. Rovellats has stocks of traditional varieties such as Macabeu, Xarel•lo and Parellada which are between 30 and 60 years old. These vines produce about 7,000 kg/ha on average, well below the mean productivity figure for el Penedès and therefore unrivalled in terms of quality. The old vine stocks have an extensive root system that makes up for annual weather shortfalls and means that the grapes in our harvests are naturally balanced. Even though Rovellats’ main product remains cava, a new era has been marked by diversification into white and red wines. Over recent years plantations of Garnatxa, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot red grape vines have gained in importance at Rovellats, and new viticulture techniques drawn from extensive analysis and experimentation have been implemented.
