Museum Release Wine Tasting & Museum Visit at Ricci Curbastro in Franciacorta

Your experience begins at the Ricci Curbastro estate in Capriolo, in the heart of Franciacorta, where a member of the hospitality team will welcome you.

The visit starts with a guided tour of the Agricultural and Wine Museum, which preserves over 4,000 objects connected to local farming and viticulture. This historical journey provides a direct link between the rural traditions of the past and the estate's modern production methods. You will then proceed to the winery's cellars for a detailed explanation of the production processes behind Franciacorta DOCG and Curtefranca DOC.

The experience culminates in the tasting room, where you will taste three exceptional, long-aged Franciacorta wines.

Your tasting includes a 2013 Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero “Gualberto”, a sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the 2009 Franciacorta Satèn Brut Museum Release, a Chardonnay-based sparkling wine with the softer character associated with Satèn, and the 2010 Franciacorta Extra Brut Museum Release, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.  These special "Museum Release" wines are kept on the lees for extended ageing before disgorgement, connecting the tasting directly to the history explored in the museum. 

The wines are served with breadsticks and Grana cheese flakes.

Children can obviously also join the experience free of charge, with water and breadsticks available for them during the tasting.
