Five glasses, one star: Pinot Noir. The Pinot Nero Experience at La Genisia is a journey into the heart of Oltrepò Pavese’s most iconic grape variety.
The experience begins in the Torre Vinaria, a 1960s wine tower with sweeping views, then continues into the winery’s cellar, and reaches the vineyards through an immersive virtual reality tour.
You’ll then sit down for a tasting of 5 wines, each showcasing a different expression of Pinot Nero:
- Brut Metodo Classico
- Extra Brut Metodo Classico
- Centodieci Nature Metodo Classico (36 months on lees)
- Still red Pinot Nero
- Centodieci Pinot Nero, aged 12 months in French oak barriques
All wines are served with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, making this experience a must for wine lovers who appreciate depth, finesse, and a full sensory journey.
