Pizza-Making Class in the Vineyard & Wine Tasting at Cantine Eredi dei Papi
Here is what's in store for you
Welcome to Cantine Eredi dei Papi for an experience that celebrates the perfect marriage of traditional excellence: pizza and wine. Your day begins with an engaging guided walk through our vineyards, where you will discover how the volcanic soil of the Castelli Romani imparts unique characteristics to our grapes. We will then lead you into the heart of the estate to share our production philosophy, blending the charm of the winery with the beauty of the rural landscape.
The core of the activity is the pizza-making workshop: under the expert guidance of a chef, you will learn the secrets of the dough and stretching techniques, creating your own personalized pizza. The journey culminates in a convivial moment on our panoramic terrace or within the estate's tasting room, where you will enjoy three different pizzas paired with three glasses of single-variety wines: Schietto (Grechetto), Albagìa (Malvasia Puntinata), and Distinto (Cesanese). It is a unique opportunity to taste local products in a setting where the view stretches from the vine rows toward the horizon of Rome.
What makes this experience special is its interactivity: you won't just be spectators, but the creators of your own meal. This is the ideal tour for those seeking fun, learning, and authentic flavors, all immersed in the magical atmosphere of the Castelli Romani. A sensory journey that combines the craftsmanship of artisanal cooking with the refinement of our volcanic winemaking production.
