Your private boat tour on the Douro River begins at the Douro Marina, reserved entirely for you and your group of up to six people. For one hour, you'll experience Porto from the water as you cruise between Afurada and the Dom Luís I Bridge. The route offers a distinct perspective on the riversides of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, passing landmarks like the Crystal Palace, the historic Customs House, Ribeira, and the famous Port wine cellars.
During the tour, you'll see the Serra do Pilar, the Clérigos Tower, and the Fernandina Wall. You will be served a bottle of local white sparkling wine from Adega Paço do Duque, a producer in the Coimbra region. Made from traditional Portuguese white grape varieties, it has a clear citrus color with fine bubbles, aromas of white fruit, and a soft, rounded palate. The wine is served with a snack of local fruit jam and toast crackers. Water or juice is also available, and minors can have the snack with their non-alcoholic drink.
Before departure, you will receive a mandatory safety briefing. Life jackets are available on board for every passenger, in compliance with Portuguese maritime safety regulations.
