Then, we head towards the little and charming Mazzorbo, connected to the more renowned Burano by a wooden bridge, to explore its walled ancient vegetable gardens and the native vines of Venice. Here, replanted during the Republic of Venice period, the locally-produced white wine presents a slight salty note, due to the salt in the soil.
