Your experience at Castello di Meleto begins with an off-road tour aboard a jeep, driven by the estate's winemaker. He will be your guide through the secluded Parabuio vineyard, a special plot where Merlot thrives in a unique, shaded microclimate. As you travel across the uneven terrain, you'll learn about single-variety cultivation and the winemaking heritage of the Chianti Classico region.
After the tour, you will move to the Parabuio room in the castle for an exclusive tasting of the estate's single-vineyard selections. You will taste four of Castello di Meleto's most prestigious red wines: two Chianti Classico Gran Selezione labels, the Camboi (Toscana IGT from Malvasia Nera grapes), and the Parabuio (Toscana IGT from Merlot grapes).
To conclude your visit, the winemaker will lead you on a tour through the castle itself. You'll explore the noble rooms, the historic 18th-century theatre, the ancient cellars, and the Vinsantaia, where the estate's Vinsanto is aged.
