Welcome to the world of Chiesa del Carmine. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the Vineria del Carmine, a 16th-century farmhouse that serves as the estate’s shop and tasting room. Here, a bilingual sommelier will guide you through a private food and wine journey featuring all 6 organic wines produced on the estate, paired with a rich gourmet lunch prepared by the chefs of Chiesa del Carmine.
Before or after the tasting, you will enjoy a tour of the winery and the adjacent barrel cellar, led by the head sommelier or the winery’s winemaker. The experience includes wine tasting directly from the barrels and the opening of a bottle from an older vintage.
The lunch menu includes:
- Homemade rosemary breadsticks and gourmet sauces; Chiesa del Carmine organic extra virgin olive oil and truffle salts served with homemade focaccia
- Hot or cold soup paired with a seasonal flan
- First course of your choice from the day’s options
- A second course of your choice from the day’s options
- Desert of the day of your choice
- Coffee
A map will be provided for a self-guided tour of the vineyard.
