This family project has in its genesis the production of wines of detail, with great character, elegance , and longevity, created by true artisans. Located in Santa Comba Dão, surrounded by the Estrela, Caramulo, Buçaco, and Lousã mountain ranges and close to the Aguieira dam reservoir, at the mouth of the river, amidst breathtaking landscapes, Pereira de Melo Wines, offers guided vineyard and cellar tours and wine tasting of highly complex and exclusive wines.
A member of the Pereira de Melo family will welcome you for a guided tour of the vineyard, explaining the genesis of the extraordinary terroir and the meticulous work that is carried out with total respect for nature. In the winery and cellar, you'll learn about the winemaking process, which leads to the creation of great wines produced in limited editions.
In our Rarity Wine Tasting, you will enjoy a wine tasting of 6 different wines: Primado White, Primado Rosé, Primado SB, Primado Red, Primado Family Cellar Edition 2013, Primado Red Old Vintage. Served with a bread basket and a platter with cheese and cold cuts from the Dão region.
