Ruchè tasting Between “Classic” and “Reserve” in its birthplace, Castagnole Monferrato

Discover Ruchè wine with this wine tasting experience at La Bottiglieria del Ruché in Castagnole Monferrato.

We will welcome you inside our new wine shop in the heart of Castagnole Monferrato and begin the experience with an introduction to make you discover the characteristics of this vine, produced within the production area defined by the DOCG regulations, entirely included in the Province of Asti and consisting of only 7 small municipalities: Castagnole Monferrato, Grana, Montemagno, Refrancore, Viarigi, Scurzolengo, and Portacomaro.

The rediscovery and current production of Ruchè is attributed to the passion of the parish priest of Castagnole Monferrato, Don Cauda, who, in the 1980s, continued to make this wine with passion and skill in the curia's lands, in the vineyard known as “del Parroco”.

You will have the opportunity to taste four wines, selected in rotation among the 30 local Ruchè producers, two classic, young wines with aging in steel and two reserves with a slight aging and a passage in large barrels. We will pair the tasting with Monferrato delicacies like cooked salami, robiola di Roccaverano cheese, bruschetta, and Lardo.
