1 hour distance from Bordeaux, Chateau La Tour Blanche is looking forward to hosting you for a special wine tour experience aimed at letting you discovery the secrets of the famous Sauternes.

The guided visit includes a tour of the vines (weather permitting) to discover this appellation and the tasks carried out in a vineyard followed by a visit of our winery with explanations of the different processes elevant to winemaking. A wine tasting of three wines concludes the visit.

The distinctive feature of Chateau La Tour Blanche and its idyllic setting attracts many visitors every year. Tours (in French or in English) are open to all: professionals, wine enthusiasts or even neophytes with an inquiring mind. 

Above all, the tour aims to be pedagogical. The purpose is to help you discover the particularities of the Sauternes appellation, explaining in a simple way or more specifically the techniques of the Sauternes wine making, from the vine plant to the bottle. The great wines of Sauternes are pleasurable wines. Remarkable for their fruity and spicy character, they reach the ideal balance between volume and freshness due to the acidity brought about by an exceptional terroir
