The De Stefani winery is ready to welcome you just outside Venice for a special wine tasting and tour experience on the tracks of Ernest Hemingway, as in July 1918, the American writer received his first treatment at the De Stefani estate in Fossalta di Piave after being seriously wounded during World War I.
During this tour at De Stefani, you will have the opportunity to visit the different areas of the estate, starting with a guided tour of the Le Ronche vineyards. This will be followed by a visit to the winemaking cellars and aging cellars, with the suggestive barrique room. You will also have the opportunity to visit the commemorative plaque dedicated to Ernest Hemingway’s experience in Fossalta di Piave.
Finally, the experience ends with a tasting of 5 excellent wines, paired with typical local appetizers and finger foods called "cicheti".
