Private Half-Day Ston Oysters & Wine Tour from Dubrovnik
Here is what's in store for you
Your tour begins with pickup in Dubrovnik (hotel or port), followed by a scenic drive along the Adriatic coast. Passing through the villages of Orašac, Trsteno — famous for its Arboretum — and Slano, you’ll enjoy views of the Elaphiti Islands while your guide shares insights into the region’s history, culture, and gastronomy.
After approximately 50 minutes, you’ll cross onto the Pelješac Peninsula and arrive in the charming town of Mali Ston. Here, you’ll meet a local fisherman who will take you by boat to his oyster beds. You’ll learn about oyster and mussel cultivation and enjoy a fresh oyster tasting on-site, accompanied by his homemade white wine.
A short drive through the vineyards of Pelješac brings you to the village of Ponikve, known for its Plavac Mali wines. You’ll visit a family-run boutique winery, where you’ll explore the cellars, meet the owner, and taste a selection of their wines and homemade fruit liqueurs.
The experience continues in the historic town of Ston, renowned for its impressive medieval walls — among the longest in Europe — and its traditional salt pans. Enjoy a short guided walk through the town, followed by some free time to relax, explore, or enjoy a glass of local wine.
Afterward, you’ll return to Dubrovnik (approximately 50 minutes), marking the end of your experience.
