At Tenuta Frontelago, a small family-run winery in Sirmione, in the heart of the Lugana wine region, you will experience an authentic journey through one of Italy’s most elegant white wines. Just a few steps from the shores of Lake Garda, this experience includes a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, during which you’ll learn about the winery’s history and their hands-on approach to winemaking.
The tour continues with a guided tasting of three vintages of Lugana DOC white wine, showcasing the versatility and aging potential of this local variety. The tasting is paired with a platter of cured meats and local cheeses, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available upon request at booking. This is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the true flavors of the territory, in a peaceful setting close to the lake.

Sara hat uns mit so viel Herzlichkeit und Leidenschaft empfangen und uns einen tollen Einblick in das charmante, familiengeführte Weingut gegeben. Es war wirklich schön zu sehen, mit wie viel Liebe hier gearbeitet wird.
Wir durften drei köstliche Weißweine probieren – jeder für sich etwas ganz Besonderes. Dazu saßen wir auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne und haben ein liebevoll angerichtetes Charcuterie-Board mit Schinken, Salami und Käse genossen. Die Kombination aus den Weinen, dem Essen und der Atmosphäre war einfach perfekt.
Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das wir jedem Weinliebhaber (und denen, die es werden wollen) wärmstens empfehlen können. Danke, liebe Sara, für diese unvergessliche Erfahrung!

Tolle Weinprobe in familiärem Umfeld!
Es handelt sich um einen sehr kleinen Familienbetrieb, der nur Trauben für Lugana-Wein anbaut und produziert. Es gibt erst drei Jahrgänge (2022-2024). Die Lese für den 2025 Wein wurde gerade bei unserem Besuch eingefahren. Davor wurden alle Trauben verkauft, nun wird durch die Übernahme des Hofes durch die beiden Kinder auch Wein selbst produziert. Zur Probe gab es eine tolle Antipasti Platte mit Wurst, Käse, Brot, Oliven, usw.. Es wurden alle drei Jahrgänge vorgestellt, allerdings ist nur noch die Charge aus 2024 zu erhalten, die anderen beiden sind bereits komplett abverkauft.. Allerdings sieht und schmeckt man, was für ein Potenzial in den Weinen steckt. Der 2022 Jahrgang liegt nun zwei Jahre in der Flasche und entfaltet jetzt erst richtig sein Geschmack! Wir haben somit den 2024 Jahrgang gekauft und lassen ihn noch 2 Jahre liegen...(wenn es klappt, so der Plan!).
Unbedingt den Lugana von 2022 probieren! Das Anwesend, die Lage und der Wein sind 100% Lugana und keine Massenware aus dem Supermarkt! Für eine kleine Probe sehr zu empfehlen.
