At Domaine de la Méchinière, our 8 grape varieties – half of which are rare, with some vines dating back to pre-phylloxera plantings before 1890 – make this estate a truly unique setting in the Cher Valley. From a living and respected land, our wines reflect the richness of our landscapes. Pruning is carried out with care, harvests are done by hand, and fermentations are gentle and unhurried to capture the pure essence of the grapes.

The organic wines of Domaine de la Méchinière are produced in four colors: white, orange, rosé, and red, under the appellation AOC Touraine and Vins de France. During your visit, you will enjoy a tasting of five wines that embody the estate’s philosophy and terroir.
