In the heart of San Martino in Pensilis, the Tintilia grape is born—ancient, bold, and quietly expressive. This native varietal speaks the language of the land, telling its story one glass at a time.
Our journey begins with a leisurely walk through the vineyards of Colle Cervino, the birthplace of Tintilia’s rich history. Here, biodiversity thrives, time seems suspended, and nature’s perfect balance can be felt with every step. In this special place, the legend of Tintilia comes alive—sharing the tale of a grape variety once forgotten and rediscovered, the passion of the Catabbo family, and the distinctive character of their wines.
We’ll then move into the elegant tasting room, where a sensory journey awaits. You’ll enjoy a tasting of 5 Tintilia wines, each sip unveiling a new facet of this rare indigenous grape, perfectly paired with a refined light lunch showcasing Molise’s finest specialties.
Choose between two distinct tasting paths:
1. Tintilia Selection
Tintilia Colle Cervino – our ruby gem, with plum, blackberry, spice, and licorice notes. Bold and distinctive, it speaks of its origins and history.
Tintilia S – balanced, smooth, and refined. A deeper expression of Tintilia with hints of spice and wood aging for a rounder body.
Tintilia in Anfora – fresh, vibrant, and pure. Bright red fruit and wildflowers, like a spring breeze in a glass.
Vincè Tintilia Riserva – bold, structured, and contemplative. Aged in barrique, with tobacco, leather, and wild blackberry. Perfect for slow sipping.
Tinduce (Passito) – sweet, intense, and lingering. Notes of spices, dried fruit, and chocolate for a decadent finish.
2. Rosé & Sparkling Selection
Noviss Spumante Rosé – surprising, lively, and polished.
Eggià Rosato – delicate and refreshing, evoking the spirit of summer.
Petriera Rosato – floral, elegant, and graceful, a whisper of summer in every sip.
Tintilia in Anfora – fresh, vibrant, and pure, with red fruit and wildflowers.
Tintilia Colle Cervino – bold and ruby-hued, with plum, blackberry, spice, and licorice.
Light lunch includes:
