The Time of Wine – Castello di Luzzano Winery Visit with Guided Tasting of 4 Wines

At Castello di Luzzano, Il Tempo del Vino is an immersive experience that reveals how time, craftsmanship, and the unique terroir of Oltrepò Pavese come together to shape every bottle.

The journey begins with a walk through the vineyards surrounding the historic estate. Among the rolling hills of Oltrepò Pavese, you will discover the winery’s agronomic choices, pruning techniques, and sustainable practices aimed at preserving the natural balance of the land while enhancing grape quality.

The experience continues with a guided visit to the winemaking cellar, where you will learn about the different approaches used to craft white, red, sparkling, and long-aging wines. The tour concludes in the historic aging cellars, where oak barrels and the quiet passage of time contribute to the elegance and character of the wines.

You will also visit the small Roman museum with its atmospheric barrel room, a unique space where ancient history and centuries of winemaking tradition intertwine.

The experience concludes with a guided tasting of 4 wines: sparkling, white, red, and red reserve wine. The tasting is accompanied by a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses, served with breadsticks and crostini to perfectly complement the wines.
