Here is what's in store for you

Do you want to discover how grappa is made? We are ready to welcome you to Montanaro Distillery, founded in 1885, which is one of the oldest distilleries still in operation with an artisanal, all-copper production facility. Visit the cellars where our grappa rests in centuries-old oak barrels and taste our products in the 'Bottega Montanaro'!

The experience at the Montanaro distillery begins with a visit to our artisanal production facility, including the original copper still room and the distillation column room. Next, we will move inside our historic cellars, where our grappa is rested in oak barrels, some of which are new, while some are a hundred years old. In this environment, grappa is literally in the air... take in its inebriating scents!

At the end of the visit, we offer an extensive tasting of our products, suitable for all palates. In addition to grappa, you will have the opportunity to taste our Herbal Liqueurs (Chamomile, Juniper, Arquebuse), Barolo Chinato, Vermouth di Torino (White, Red, Extra Dry), Brandy, Chicò Coffee Liqueur, Aperitif, Bitter and Gin. Some roasted hazelnuts and Barolo Chinato/Grappa di Barolo praline will accompany your tasting experience.

After the visit, we recommend taking a tour of the shelves in our store, which, in addition to our own products, offers a fine selection of food products and local wines from our pomace bestowers only.
