At Azienda Agricola Sabaghina, located in the scenic hills of Montalto Pavese, you’ll enjoy an immersive tasting that blends tradition and innovation. This wine experience offers three tasting moments designed to showcase the evolution of Oltrepò Pavese wines, from historical expressions to new international styles.

The experience begins with a Riesling Superiore, traditionally lightly sparkling and associated with aperitif culture. Sabaghina now interprets it in a more modern, international style by vinifying Renano Riesling—resulting in their refined "18 Carati", a white wine of rare complexity and elegance.

Next, you'll taste Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC, the iconic traditional red of the region—fragrant, lively, and paired with typical local charcuterie, especially the Salame di Varzi DOP, a true regional treasure.

The third wine, "45° Parallelo" Rosso IGT, is a bold and structured blend of native grapes and Cabernet Sauvignon, representing the future of Oltrepò reds. This powerful and austere wine completes a journey from history to innovation.

Upon request, you can end the experience with a glass of sweet Sangue di Giuda, paired with a slice of fruit tart.
