Cantina Canaio awaits you in the heart of Tuscany for a typical Tuscan light lunch with wine pairing.
This experience begins with a visit to the Canaio Winery where you will learn the secrets of the production of their Syrah wines and extra virgin olive oil. You will also have the opportunity to walk through the vineyards to see and discover the grapes in their maturation process.
after the tour, you will be ready to enjoy a delicious Tuscan light lunch in combination with our Cantina Canaio's wines. You will taste 3 Syrah wines, as well as the winery's olive oil, their Syrah passito, and Grappas in the Young and Reserve versions.
During the light lunch, you will enjoy:
- a selection of local cheese and cold cuts, bruschetta, focaccia with onions and cherry tomatoes
- a pasta main course, for example, Pennette al Fumo (typical from Cortona), Spaghetti all'Aglione (typical from Val di Chiana), or Tortelloni al ragù
- A homemade cake or typical pastries to conclude

Pleasant experience
Mirco welcomed us with great kindness and accompanied us on a tour of the cellars, explaining clearly how he works: you can immediately see that behind every choice there is care, attention, and above all, so much passion.
They produce few bottles and few wines, but the quality is very high: everything we tasted was focused, clean, and with a beautiful personality.
After the tour, we did the tasting, accompanied by appetizers and a first course: everything was delicious, well-chosen products, and more than satisfying portions.
I highly recommend the visit: it's one of those places where they don't just sell you wine, but they transmit a story and an enthusiasm that stays with you. Compliments to Mirco!
