Podere Il Fitto is a boutique winery, whose local wines and extra virgin olive oil, are prepared exclusively with the grapes and olives grown at the farm.
The winery tour provides an exclusive experience, diving into the daily works of a family business where tradition and innovation work together. The wine tasting includes 3 wines accompanied by Podere Il Fitto's evo oil and local salami, prosciutto, and bread. You will end on a sweet note with Vinsanto, the prized sweet wine typical of the area.

La Signora Edda ci ha accolto, con molta cordialità e ci ha fatto una interessantissima storia della loro produzione, dal bianco, al rose', ben quattro vini rossi , bariccati e no, tra cui un notevole Syrah, per finire con un delizioso vin santo, apprezzato al massimo con un ottimo pecorino di Pienza.
Quanta dedizione da parte della Signora e della famiglia è venuta fuori dall'incontro, in un bellissimo contesto paesaggistico, del territorio Cortonese, delle Chianacce.
Complimenti, vini ottimi , che non possono non trovare un riscontro tra i consumatori apprezzatori, dei prodotti della nostra Terra.
Un particolare riferimento va all'olio Evo, delicato e saporito, che sopra al pane si è fatto molto apprezzare. Non c'è paragone tra quest'olio e quello che si acquista nei negozi, anche ad alto prezzo.
Grazie alla Signora Edda e alla sua disponibilità, per un incontro che è durato oltre un'ora e mezza, con visita alle cantine e relativo assaggio.
