Two steps in the Roero: Wine tasting at the Massucco Winery
Here is what's in store for you
The Massucco Winery is ready to welcome you to the heart of the prestigious Roero wine territory for this wine experience.
For those who don't know them, Massucco is synonymous with history and wines of great quality: their vineyards are worked by hand and exclusively through the use of mechanical processes. The careful and precise work of Massucco begins in the vineyard and ends in the cellar with the sole purpose of putting the best possible wine in the bottle, guided by technological innovation and ancient family traditions while maintaining the importance of agricultural heritage.
This experience was thought for those who want to delve specifically into the wines that the Roero territory offers us. A territory different from the Langhe that gives wine unique notes. You will have the opportunity to taste 5 wines of your choice, including one Roero DOCG, among the following:

- Roero Arneis DOCG
- Il Sole Roero Arneis DOCG Riserva
- Dolcetto d'Alba DOC
- La Luna Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore
- Roero DOCG

2 Steps in Roero
We tasted: 2 different types of Arneis, 1 made with a percentage of overripe grapes (delicious); 2 different types of Roero (riserva and non-riserva) and finally a Barbera.
The young woman who guided us during the tasting was very thorough and friendly.
We will be back!
A day spent between good wine and excellent company
Loris welcomed us, explaining what we were seeing, the work that goes on behind the vineyard, but not just the harvest, but the natural balances between insects, birds and plants, the history of the family estate borders… We were simply hanging on his every word… then we went down and saw the production process…
Lastly, we went back up and found a table set with attention to the smallest details, a beautiful charcuterie board and the wine tasting…
hearing a person speak like that makes you understand the love they put into it and transmit to those who listen.
I can only thank you for the beautiful Sunday and for the knowledge gained.
Until next time… Fulvia and company
Nothing!!!!!
Excellent experience
The scenery was also fantastic and the cellar tour was much appreciated, enriched by the company's history and the description of the entire winemaking process.
