The tour begins with a visit to a cellar in the area of Val d'Orcia where you will taste a sampling of three locally produced wines, including the iconic Nobile di Montepulciano, accompanied by some local snacks such as bruschetta with olive oil or local Pecorino cheese.

After the winery experience, you will find yourself plunged into the heart of Val d'Orcia, Montepulciano, where the stateliness of its Renaissance buildings and the refined beauty of its churches are intertwined with the ancient tradition of its wine, Nobile di Montepulciano, a symbol of the city as well as the delight of your palate. While visiting Pienza and Montepulciano, the two artistic jewels representing the landscape of Val d’Orcia, you will get to know the authentic beauty of Tuscany. You will have about 1,5 hours to explore Montepulciano. You can choose to enjoy your lunch (not included in the tour) in Montepulciano or at the next tour stop in Pienza.
