Wine Tasting with Local Products and Cellar Tour at Nicolis in Valpolicella

Your visit to the Nicolis family estate begins with a walk to the vineyard, where a member of the hospitality team will introduce you to the area's native grape varieties and cultivation methods. In case of bad weather, this introduction will take place inside the 'appassimento' room.

The tour continues to the room where the grapes are left to dry, a traditional technique crucial for creating Amarone. You will then follow the journey of the grapes into the barrel-ageing cellar, learning how the Nicolis family's winemaking process transforms them from harvest to bottle.

The experience concludes in the tasting room. Here, you will have a guided tasting of four of the winery's representative wines: a Lugana DOC, a Valpolicella Classico DOC "Seccal", a Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC, and an Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG. The tasting is paired with artisan bread, local soppressa, and long-aged cheeses from Lessinia.
