Your tour begins with convenient pick-up and drop-off in a private car, accompanied by an English-speaking professional driver who will be at your disposal throughout the day. As you travel through the picturesque Valpolicella hills, adorned with vineyards and olive groves, you'll be immersed in the region's rich winemaking heritage.
Your first stop is at a historic winery in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, where you will be welcomed by the winemaker. Here you’ll uncover the secrets behind the region’s renowned Amarone wine, discovering its unique drying process and how the famous Valpolicella Ripasso is crafted. A guided tasting of 5 selected wines, including the prestigious Amarone della Valpolicella, will let you savour the authentic flavours of the area.
The journey continues to a second family-run winery, where you’ll be personally guided by the producer through the estate. After the visit, enjoy a traditional lunch served either in the cellar or amidst the vineyards. The menu features local delicacies such as artisanal salami and cheeses from the Veronese Hills, a seasonal first course, and a homemade dessert. The meal will be perfectly paired with a guided tasting of 5 wines, including Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG.
