Corte Quaiara's Copper-Hued Pinot Grigio: Tour & Vertical Tasting in Sona
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to Corte Quaiara begins with a welcome from either Giovanni, the owner, or Viviana, the Sales Manager, who will be your personal guide for the entire experience. They will lead you on a tour through the estate, starting in the vineyard before moving into the main winemaking cellar and the barrel room, where you'll see both traditional barrels and the terracotta amphorae used for aging.
The tour concludes in the dedicated tasting room. Here, you will taste a vertical of Corte Quaiara's signature Pinot Grigio, comparing four different vintages from 2019 to 2022. This is Pinot Grigio as it was originally made, with its natural copper hue, a fuller structure, and soft tannins developed from its time in terracotta.
To accompany the wines, you'll be served a platter of Northern Italian specialties, including cured meats (coppa, pancetta, and soppressa), alongside a selection of regional cheeses (fresh goat's cheese, aged cow's milk varieties, and local blue cheese).
This tasting offers a direct look at how a single wine evolves over time, showing the subtle changes in texture and balance that each year brings.
