Vineyard Inspirations: Laboratory Painting & Tasting Experience at Cantina Pietta on Garda Lake

Your host is Elisa, a member of the Pietta family and the illustrator who leads this creative session. She will welcome you to the estate for a tour of the vineyards and winery, where she'll introduce you to the family’s organic winemaking philosophy.

After the tour, you'll settle among the vines to paint or draw, with the landscape as your inspiration. Elisa will be on hand to offer her artistic expertise throughout the session. The experience is open to everyone, regardless of artistic experience.

During the creative session, you will have a guided tasting, starting with a welcome glass of Chiaretto Valtènesi. You will then choose a second wine from the winery's selection, which includes:
• Rismèn – Riviera del Garda Classico Bianco DOC (dry white)
• Chardonnay – Garda DOC Chardonnay (slightly off-dry white)
• Cassaga – Garda DOC Chardonnay (barrel-aged white)
• Brio – Sparkling white wine
• Kalpoç – Riviera del Garda Classico Valtènesi (still rosé)
• Piett"one" – Ancestral sparkling rosé
• Balzemì – Garda DOC Marzemino (red)
• Piazzole – Riviera del Garda Classico Groppello (red)
• Brio Rosso – Sparkling red wine
• Tradizione – Naturally fermented red wine
• Calèm – Naturally fermented rosé wine

The tasting is paired with a platter of local specialties from nearby producers. The selection varies with the season but may include pork salami, wild boar cacciatorino, cow's milk Formaggella, goat cheese, organic spelt focaccia, local honey, and red onion jam.

In case of bad weather, the painting session moves indoors to the winery's tasting room. Families are welcome; children will be served homemade organic grape juice and the same food platter.
