"Visita Premium" at #Garagewine near Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha

Discover the authentic spirit of #garagewine in Castilla-La Mancha with a Premium Visit led by the two partners of the project, Jesús Toledo and Julián Ajenjo. #garagewine makes organic, single-plot wines in limited series, without additives, and this visit takes you from the vineyard to the glass.
The experience begins with a walk through the vineyard plots, where you will learn how the team interprets the soils and works each plot. In case of rain the vineyard walk is not possible, and the experience is adapted together with the guests. The visit continues in the courtyard where the grapes are received and through the different areas of the winery: winemaking, bottling, ageing and the laboratory.
The tasting takes place in the winemaking room and includes 5 wines. The usual selection includes two white wines, Airén and Verdoncho, the young unaged red Brujidera, an aged wine, usually 6 de 7 or Garnacha Tintorera depending on availability, and Tinto Velasco, aged in a clay vessel (tinaja). The selection can change with the moment in the winery, and during harvest or bottling you may also taste wines at those stages. The wines are paired with local Iberian cured meats (lomo, salchichón, jamón and chorizo) and Manchego cheeses of different ageing.
The visit ends in the tasting room, where you can buy your favourite bottles.
