Volcanic Expressions: Comparative Wine Tasting & Food Pairing Experience at Eredi dei Papi
Here is what's in store for you
Welcome to Cantine Eredi dei Papi for a technical and emotional journey into the world of winemaking versatility. Your experience begins with a guided tour of our organic vineyards, where the volcanic soil of the Castelli Romani provides the foundation for wines of great character. We will then lead you into the heart of the winery to show you how a single variety can be radically transformed through different fermentation and aging techniques, allowing you to understand the crucial role of the winemaker in enhancing the fruits of the land.
The journey includes a guided tasting of four premium wines, selected to compare different production styles: the Fuorionda and Piperino classic methods, the Distinto Cesanese, and the Composto red wine. Each wine will be paired with a refined four-course gastronomic journey, specifically designed to enhance the aromatic nuances and structure of each label. During the visit, you can enjoy the highlights of our estate, including the stunning panoramic terrace offering a privileged view over the vineyard landscapes of the Castelli Romani.
This offer is special because it invites a direct comparison between different production styles, revealing how winery choices can enhance or transform the expression of the terroir. It is the perfect experience for those who wish to go beyond a simple tasting and want to understand how a wine's identity is born. A unique opportunity to experience the authenticity of the Lazio region through a story of technique, passion, and respect for nature.
