Here is what's in store for you

Welcome to Lune del Vesuvio, a special winery we had the chance to know in the last months. This is a great wine and food experience if you're looking for a lunch stop before or after a visit to the Vesuvio. The winery itself is in the National Park;  it's a must visit place!

With this option you'll get the chance to enjoy the following program: you'll start with a walking tour of the winery with a visit to the vineyards, the garden and the horse stables! Then back to the tasting room for a great food and wine pairing. For each delicacy you'll tast a Lune del Veusvio wine:

Homemade bread with olive oil from the olive grove - this will be paired with the Coda di Volpe Pompeiano IGT "Donna Carolina" wine
Mixed bruschettine with vegetables from the garden paired with Lacryma Cristi del Vesuvio DOC white wine "Janesta"
Scialatielli (type of pasta) with cherry tomatoes of piennolo  and Piedirosso Pompeiano IGT "O' Cuognolo" wine
Second course of meat and side dish with cheese and jam to match Lacryma Cristi del Vesuvio DOC Red Wine "Muscari"
Homemade dessert and  Lacryma Cristi del Vesuvio DOC Red Reserve "Cratere" Wine

The experience lasts at least 2 hours and it will let you enter into the amazing Vesuvius food and wine heritage!

Reviews of this Experience

A highly recommended experience

Rate: 5 out of 5 10/1/25
I've been to several wine tastings in Spain, and this one surprised us with the undivided attention we received. The visit to the vineyards and the explanations we received were extremely interesting, and the subsequent meal accompanied by various wines was exceptional. The setting, at the foot of Vesuvius, is spectacular. Without a doubt, an experience worth repeating.
Everything was perfect, nothing to suggest.

The best experience!

We visited Naples on a cruise and booked this separately from the cruise options. The staff was SO KIND! The food and wine was INCREDIBLE! The protetti is beautiful. We truly felt like family. The only downfall was getting a taxi to get there (40 mins from port). But was totally worth it.
The ride was the toughest part.

la visita dei vigneti, con panoramica sulle varie tipologie di uve e vini derivati, e degli orti ove producono i prodotti serviti in tavola incluso il mitico "piennolo del Vesuvio";

Good wine and food - the meat was so tender and tasty. Overall a very good experience with the history of the wines and the wineyard - 10/10 would recommend!

Esperienza a dir poco perfetta

All in all a nice experience

Rate: 4 out of 5 10/1/24
All in all everything went well.
We ate well and the staff was very helpful and kind.

We would have liked to visit the vineyards too, Unfortunately it was closed that day and not open to visitors.

The description of the program was in fact: "you'll start with a walking tour of the winery with a visit to the vineyards, the garden and the horse stables!" BUT we only did the vineyard tour.

The food was good and of good quality, the wine also very good.

You can see that they work with passion and love.

I would recommend following the program described in the package, or modifying it if you cannot follow it.

Then another advice I would like to give you, perhaps to stay longer at the table to have a chat and talk about life, your company, your story. Otherwise it may seem a little memorized.

You were very good and very well prepared, but perhaps the human aspect was missing a little.
